A: This is explained on our website: ‘Workshop’ -> ‘Workshop 2025’ -> ‘Refund Policy’

WORSHOP-RELATED QUESTIONS

Q: I am particularly interested in having hands-on training on a specific instrument mentioned in the program. Can this be accommodated?

A: Yes, this can be done within reason. All modern instruments have similar capabilities, and the core training objectives are met by any instrument. In addition, manufacturers’ representatives (Leica, Olympus, and Zeiss) are available at their instruments in the evening after the close of the official daily program, to work with participants; this also refers to the next question.

Q: Can I bring my own specimens to apply the imaging techniques taught at the workshop?

A: Basically, yes - after the official program ends, as explained in the previous question. For the smooth running of the workshop, specimens for training will be provided during the hands-son training period.

Q: I am coming to this workshop to learn how to overcome a particular challenge I have in my research objectives related to one of the imaging techniques taught at the workshop. Is there an opportunity to raise my questions?

A: Absolutely! Workshop teaching faculty, KCCI personnel and manufacturers’ representatives are available for formal (during the workshop day) or informal consultation at breaks and mealtimes. After dinner roundtable discussions offer another opportunity to ask questions or clarifications.
